Cheetahs enjoying freedom at Garden Route Game Lodge

Since there release in September 2007, the two brothers have adapted very well to there new environment and provided visitors to the game reserve with much entertainment and excitement. The sighting of one of these graceful cats in there natural habitat has become the most talked about topic on game drives.








Several of our vsitors have been fortunate enough to witness a kill while others have spotted a high speed chase or simply enjoyed a sighting while on the game drive. The team of game rangers at the reserve have become quite skilled at tracking the movements of the cheetah and, as they are day hunters, sightings are quite frequent. The two brothers have developed a taste for springbok, there natural prey, and, with a population of over 150 springbok on the reserve they wont be going hungry!
